Yeah your wrong, Yeahduff. KMFDM did do a version of the MK Theme. Its more remembered as being on the Mortal Kombat Movie. Also Rammstein did a remix of that track for Annillation.

no I don't have a link, or have any idea where you can find it. I want to say it was on one of the promo vinyl records they put out on the film. I have a habit of listening to the Real synthetic audio podcast, and Todd routinely plays rare/unreleased tracks on there and I want to say thats where I heard it. Obviously I could be mixing up ramstein with another industrial band I take with a grain of salt, but it feels right. *sheepish*

well were talking covers, not remixes. Actually The Immortals did the first remix of the track, and later covered it. Do a search on the internet on who wrote it and you get all sorts of answers. But I want to side with the Utah Saints as writing it, as it sounds like the sort of music they always did, and they do the "Utah Saints take on the Mortal Kombat theme by The Utah Saints". Another popular answer is Ryhaon.

Well this is weird. Truthfully I was having all sorts of trouble finding a straight answer on this topic, so I went straight to the source. I do remember when B96 was bumping The Immortals, about a year before the first movie came out, and the only difference I could find between it and the KMFDM version posted in this thread was different characters being named. I suppose we all like money.
