That really is something awful. Goonfleet, no doubt.
Besides, Keenbucks are nearly worthless because of all the money that went to keep failing companies afloat. Have fun with the exchange rate of 5buxs for that sack of money.

keenbucks was way before your time.
I shall finish drawing the campaign comic I was working on tomorrow. Hopefully my chosen candidate will like it.

So I'm trying something, sort of a recap of what's happened so far ... it's still being tinkered with (no real story to go along ... yet)

What CJ said. it's kind of an old timer inside joke, they were created at a time when keenspot were trying to tell us how much money our sites cost verse how much we made in ad sales. Keenbucks are worthless, though people thought they were going get money. Its a lot more funny if you were... ya know here at the time.Dragonkingdoms wrote:That really is something awful. I'd like to formally announce that, once again, I will not be running for president, so don't vote for me. I know that during our last election, a lot of you thought it was really funny to vote for me anyway out of some misguided love for postmodern irony, but seriously, come on.

Oh man. Every once in a while some newcomer to Keenspace would check stats, and seeing the word "bucks" in there, immediately send angry mails requesting his share.Phact0rri wrote:What CJ said. it's kind of an old timer inside joke, they were created at a time when keenspot were trying to tell us how much money our sites cost verse how much we made in ad sales. Re: 2009 President of General Discussion Elections
wait... it occurs to me that a president of general discussion might not actually be nearly as powerful as the president of off-topic. And what happens if there is an arms race between the two?
