I read Wanted, the graphic novel, before I saw the movie.
The graphic novel has five hundred billion times more violence, blood, and swearing then the movie.
It was better, too.

I saw the third Mummy movie today. I really enjoyed it. =D It's a fun, funny action movie. Not as great as some of the old Indy movies, but that's by no means a blemish. It is what it is, and that's just fine by me.

I saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 and 3 and then on the weekend I saw Mamma Mia.

My favorite character was the Greek Village.

I just saw WallE. Good grief, I was misty eyed right through. It's a heartwarming, damn funny movie, with plenty of parts that'll stick with you, and characters who may just be robots, but are more expressive than most actors you'll see onscreen these days, and they're just... deep as hell. Excellent movie, I give it two thumbs up and a gold star.

I remember watching The Mummy expecting it to be a horror movie. It ended up being cheesy and hilarious, so I enjoyed myself. I'll wait till the dvd though for the 3rd Mummy movie.

First time I saw Mummy, I thought it was some cheap B-production Indianas Jones rip-off. I was really surprised to find out that it was actually a regular feature and rather popular.

So, over the past few days, I've been thinking about this. In the movies, Hellboy owns all these cats. So, does this make them . . . hellcats?

I finally saw Dark Knight!

It was quite good, but some of the mind games Joker pulled were a bit too reminiscent of things I've seen in other movies and TV shows, and liked better there, for me to be too impressed.

I seen Dark Knight, Hellboy 2, The Incredible Hulk and Hancock. All great movies but I have to say Dark Knight tops the list just because of Joker. If it wasn't for Ledger's performance "The Incredble Hulk" would be my number one.

Does it make Hellboy a Crazy Cat Lady(tm)?

A Crazy Hellcat Boy, perhaps!

I watched Tropic Thunder last night.

When this movie comes out I suggest that if you have nothing else to do to go watch it.
The entire audience was having a good time laughing out loud and chuckling to themselves, I had a friend with me with a very strange sense of humor *atleast compared with mine* and even he was having a hoot.
Don't break plans for it or anything though.

I saw the trailer and was intrigued, I thought the release date was the 15th though?

watching "Escape from Suburbia", James Howard Kunstler's follow-up to "End of Suburbia". I liked "End of Suburbia", but I'm disagreeing with many of the points from "Escape". it's much more dire, completely dismissing many ideas and technologies that will have a role in the adaptation. yes, solar and wind and other renewable energy collectors plus hydrogen storage cells will not be the only step necessary, but if we downscale from the current average American way of life, they will suffice for our energy needs.

in particular, the most bothersome parts are the people talking about how unsustainable NYC is. well, yes, the city on it's own cannot get by, but it's always had a massive hinterlands that basically extend over all the northeast US. we reinvest in rail, we will be able to ship fresh food into the city the same way we do by truck currently. plus, yay, northeast farming revival!

ahh, finally, SOME mention to Los Angles. yeah, whereas the northeast can adapt and buy local, LA and the southwest will be in serious trouble.

one hour left, I'll get back to you with an overall opinion.

finally saw The Beast With a Billion Backs. Not as good as the first futurama film, but still fairly enjoyable. I look forward to Bender's Game
