Website Design.

Post by MrEff »

Anyone know of any good sites devoted to this? I used to be a part of a design forum where people could throw out jobs and people would compete for the various jobs for various prices.

I have 2 sites I need designed. I would typically do them myself but between the demands of my job and the demands of my comic I just don't have the time at the moment.

So anyone know of any good sites for this kind of request? Or know any site designers that won't charge an arm and a leg?? Or does anyone here feel up to the challenge?

Hit me up with a PM for details or if you have any info please!

I'm pretty sure there's some stuff on this in Technique Tips & Tricks, at the top with the stickies.

This thread should probably be moved there?

Edit: It's actually in Help Center for some reason; I guess most HTML stuff goes there, but design crits are TT&T....

Though I cannot recall of any particularly right now, they are about everywhere. You just have to search for "html tutorial" or "dreamweaver tutorial" or whatever it is that you use.

See I'm not so much looking for tutorials. I know how to do it, I just don't have the time.

I'm looking more for freelancers for these projects

Well, I'm sure a quick google search would turn up a site or two advertising webpage design...

The css Zen Garden is a website dedicated to the encouragement of CSS-based web design, showcasing graphic design that all originates from the same base HTML, altered freely by the designer's own CSS.
