this sounds deadly awesome.
i'll keep it in mind for the weekend, I have a girlfriend who badly needs to get smashed off her gourd.
Reminds me of that stupid drink I made up. It's a shot of rum, a shot of vodka, and cap of tripple sec and 2 shots of cranberry. It fucking sucked but I was all fine and dandy under the table. Under the table and dreaming. Dreaming about code. God I hate PHP. Dave Matthews is alright I guess. Sort of. Mutha fucka.
Oy. NOW I need a drink.

Why don't you fuck yourself and that chocobo you rode in on.

That reminds me, I dedided to look up if anyone's made a Flaming Homer. Does anyone know if there's one accepted recipe for this drink that's "official?"

This is the most common one I've found.

1.0 oz. Blackberry Liqueur
1.0 oz. Brandy
1.0 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
1.0 oz. Sloe gin
1.0 oz. Strawberry juice
Add a bit of cough syrup and ignite.

I think I know what I'm doing tonight. It'll help soothe the pain. Or give me a burn and cause physical pain to help me ignore the mental pain.

I'm back... I kinda blacked out during midterms week because a buddy and I decided to split a mini-keg of Becks the night before midterms started, and then just kept drinking all week... trying to repress the tests and essays as much as possible.

That sounds like fun party... we ran out of limes and did Oranges for our margaritas the other night. Turned out pretty damn good. Different, but good.

Tonight, for me it's a bottle of a nice chianti. It's the only wine I really like.

Anyone had Boulevard before? I'm assuming so... I ask because I live near the factory/plant so its a hometown favorite... and because their Irish Ale (a spring seasonal) is really solid. If you see it, try it. Unless you don't like beer or Irish ales to begin with. Then you can just go back to your girly mixed drinks with umbrellas in them.

There are no obstacles in life that won't look smaller with some Heineken! *Raises his glass*

Except for liver failure

That'll kill you.

At least you'd die happy though... and hopefully very drunk since nothing would be filtering the alcohol from your blood!

What kind of cough syrup is this? When I think cough syrup, I tend to think of NyQuil. Dimmetapp maybe?

Hmm...I was thinking that since it was Homer after all, and maybe it was just really old and discoloured stuff that he kept for who knows what reason. But then I thought back to the rest of the episode, and Moe uses purple stuff too...I suppose there's got to be grape stuff somewhere that they got the idea from!

Maybe it doesn't exist. Maybe they don't want people to make Flaming Homers.

I had an amaretto sour and a whiskey sour last night. The whiskey sour kinda sucked but I drank it anyway. Then I had more. I'm also out of amareto now.

I hate sunday liquor laws. My friends didn't go pick up the shit like they said they would, so when I finished my homework around 1230am and went to their place we had nothing to drink. Which sucked... especially because that was the only reason I worked on my homework so much in the afternoon/evening.

We should be able to buy 24/7. Everywhere.
