Lots of things wrong with it I'm sure... for one, I kinda forgot to make the smoke blow in the same direction as the hair. AH WELL it's good to at least have picked up a pencil again after all this time...

The fact that you haven't drawn since August is a crime against nature. That said, never fear, you've still got it.

Happy new year! 1st doodly drawy thing. A girl sat down at the same table as me and I decided to do a doodly thing of her. Course her head isn't giant, but whatever.

Sometimes if you don't back away from what you're doing once in a while you end up magnifying too much of one section, which ends up throwing the rest of it off. I have that problem during figure studies sometimes.

well the specific things that are off that bother me are the number of braids-there's too many and the number of leaves near her hand-I seem to have done one branch twice

I tried to make it not so obvious when I painted them in.

no seriously there are things wrong with it. That's not modesty or anything when I was painting on the drawing I constantly remarked to myself "Why did I even DO that it doesn't match at ALL"

You mean this isn't a "Stories ABOUT Sketches" thread?

I did a drawing for my grandma as a Christmas present ('cause at 29, I'm still too broke to buy proper gifts) and, after a night to sleep on it, I realized too late that it was, in fact, hideous.

Merry Christmas, Grandma.
