It means you're generally logical and have to try real hard to think emotionally, you cold, hard plastic bastard.

Ow, that's not something you should concentrate on when you've just got home from work and are exhausted.

I see it turning anti-clockwise mostly, although I can make it change directions at will with very little difficulty.

The thing that freaks me out most about this is that as I watch it spin clockwise, I can't imagine how it could possibly spin counter-clockwise. Then it randomly switches and I can't imagine how it was ever spinning clockwise to begin with.

Can't get her to go counter-clockwise...maybe I'll drink a bit and try again later.

I can't seem to get it to go clockwise just by looking at it. When I started to worry that my lack of imagination is because of my calculating nature, after reading the differences between the two, it started to move clockwise. Now I can't get it to go back again. No, wait, now it's back to being counter. I guess I'm just a cold-hearted bastard. Or rational. Whichever.

she's moving clockwise now, but I'm certain she was moving counter-clockwise this morning. I can't get it to switch on purpose.

this thing isn't real. the flash image is on a loop that will switch back and forth (forward and reverse). It has nothing to do with your brain. You guys just aren't watching long enough.

I clicked on the page and the thing was going counter clockwise. I was like "whoa, cool." Logically, it seemed to me like there was no way it could be going clockwise since the shadow on the foot traveled from right to left. Then there was a slight jump in the image and it started rotating clockwise. Looking at the shadow, it now went from left to right.

Seriously, go back and watch it for like a minute or two. You can see where it flips. Its a joke. This has nothing to do with which side of your brain is predominate.

i was beginning to suspect that but couldn't prove it. in one direction her left foot and left arm are up in the other it's the right.

That doesn't explain the people who can swap it back and round pretty much at will. Or that I looked at it for the length of a regular single without changing direction.

it might be randomized, and the illusion might be that we're switching it at will.

It don't think it's fake. If you look at the image at a very shallow angle it will appear to stop spinning altogether and just flop back and forth.

You have to look at the computer screen at almost a 0° angle to break the illusion and see the flop.

Edit: There's a simple way to test it though, just get a bunch of people to look at it at the same time and see which way they all think it's spinning.

to me it gets all weird when it hits the left. it goes from counter clockwise to clockwise... I'm not sure why it did a flip like it did... but I kept trying to figure it out. Then I read the stuff.. and my brain snapped in half.

right-brained, but I already knew that.

I try to keep her spinning counter-clockwise, but as soon as I stop, she's spinning clockwise again!

...Woah. At first I saw clockwise, now all I can see is her going halfway, then switching directions. Her back is always facing me! D:

I wonder when she'll spew from all this spinning.

I managed to get her going counter-clockwise by using Ivy's trick, but she went right back to clockwise spinning again. She's stubborn.

Flash image? But it's a gif. You can't do that sort of thing with a gif without making it totally massive, can you?

I can only get her to spin counter-clockwise for a couple of rotations (it seems to help to focus on the shadow) before she stubbornly goes back to her clockwise ways.

the flaw in your plan is that it is a gif image and not flash.

I downloaded it and opened it in image ready and the illusion is caused by the silhouette near the end of the main animation. it is positioned and shaped in a way that could be a figure turning either toward or away from you. It's just an endlessly looping gif.
