no one had sticks and the puck was far too large. Plus there was a lack of Ice. I looked at the Hockey game for about 2 seconds before I turned the channel. Hockey done right is the only sport worth watching.

I'd be willing to bet that concert performances when the song was fresh weren't as good, either. Hooray for studio mixing!

There were times his hand wasn't where I would expect it to be for someone to pick notes on a guitar, and yet the notes came out anyway. :-?
Yeah, if you spend a few minutes looking at a few guitar guides, you c-could make some really awesome sounds by strumming the chord once, but go all gung-ho with fret manipulation.

All this guitar talk makes me want to try to learn guitar again, but I made the error of giving away my guitar to a friend!

Wow. Then he must really be a hell of a guitar player. I stand corrected.

IMHO, he shouldn't be duping guys like me with his fancy guitar playing. Just strum the thing you bastard! *shakes fist at Prince*

Yeah, Prince has some pretty awesome technical skills as a musician. If he wasn't batshit insane he'd be seen as one of the greatest artists of his generation. Shame about that.

I watched the whole game.

Most interesting thing that happened were the turnovers and
Prince's rocking performance.

How he did so well in the pouring rain, I'll never know. Live performances are
hell to pull off, let alone a live performance that has you soaked to the bone in freezing water.

That might have been the first time he performed "Purple Rain" while it was actually raining. I would have gone all out and gotten meteorologists to turn the rain purple in advance.

I was surprised. Super Bowl halftime shows usually suck. This one entertained me greatly.

I've seen other amazing performances in downpours far worse though.

I was watching the game with rednecks, so I didn't get to see Prince.

They were in Miami! There was nothing freezing about that rain! :P

I forgot, I really liked those careerbuilder.com "Survive the Work Week" commercials. Thought they were clever.
