I did a "view image". Then returned to the thread. Pressed refresh... and it appeared for about 4/5 of a second then went back to saying "inlined external image."

A whole group of villains and their lackeys based on spider themes! Well, except for the shark mutant and the magic wind dude.

Alas, not mine. It was some random rendering I found on the web yesterday.

It is cool, though. We need this poor twisted mutant to turn up in the Transformers movie.

That's a very lego emote there.

Odd. I thought that image had already been posted on this forum and that you just remember the old one, Joel. I know I've seen the image somewhere before . . .

I've seen it before, but it's been a while. Plenty of time for someone to do a Columbus.

Maybe you were thinking about Bagger 288?

More pics here. Now that would make a Transformer. :)

They even made a transformer out of it in the link you posted.

When I first saw that, I immediately thought it was either a product of Photoshop or 3D S Max.

Wow.

Actually the Russian Recon field has been using a batman-like sigil for years.

My friend over there says when Batman first came out after the Iron Curtain fell, everyone was confused at the Batman show (which wasn't translated at first apparently). It was like "So when there's trouble, they call Recon?"

Apparently a lot of the soldiers though, once they got it, took batman-esque codenames.

Like, Vyacheslav "Two-Face" Baranov and Vladamir "The Riddler" Rezun.

And who can forget Valentin "Batgirl" Korabelnikov?
