Charcoal is a pain to scan. I need a camera.

Only finished non-comic art I have right now.
I have several others. They're just not quite finished. Yet.

Coloring tutorial It's a little like coloring boot camp. Without the boots.

Drew this last semester and colored it in Correl Painter. Proof that I can draw just a LITTLE more than just pigeons, worms, and squirrels. =D

Very nicely played. I like that use of dynamic perspective. I also like that she has chubby legs.Ignacio wrote:Drew this last semester and colored it in Correl Painter. Proof that I can draw just a LITTLE more than just pigeons, worms, and squirrels. =D

Not sure if this counts but I had to compile a portfolio for grad school a few weeks back and manage to scramble together this. The videos aren't there (they're over 300 MB each) and I took out my address but that's basically how the portfolio looked like when I sent it in.
I won't hotlink them because the files are too big but my favourites are 16 Charlies and Temptation Arm.

I feel this picture was one of my best. Also one of the most time-consuming single images I've drawn. And it still sucks compared to everyone else.
But hey, if art is in the eye of the beholder, then relative to what I usually do, this is my art.
Based on a very vivid dream I once had about the greatest video game of all time, which unfortunately doesn't actually exist.
It's a tattooed frog archer with volatile arrowheads sitting in a tree in preparation for an ambush on some armadillo-warriors.

Why not? I'll give the ferret a run here.
Did this during summer in (really) early 2000. He's a character from the novel I've been working on since 1999 (although it's all but stopped since this bloody webcomic reared it's bloody head...). He walked onto the page dressed as the swagman's ghost from Waltzing Matilda during a concert piece in the story (to sing the final lines) and I thought I'd draw him to see how he looked.
It's the first real piece of art I really produced...I've only done two more since then...none in the last three years...
Yes, I know...his ears are the right size...
