I seem to be without email service right now, being, as I am, in Dallas until Mar. 24, so I apologize for not just sending you an email, Randy. I just wanted to know if you got the Mustek scanner to work.<P>Well, that--and I think I'm feeling vaguely homicidal toward mankind in general, and you're one of the few people I can stand right now. Besides my mom and my sister, Chalain is the other one, but I've bothered him enough lately.<P>How are you, by the way?<P>

Eh, good enough. Can't sleep, and it's quarter to six in the morning. (I was playing Beyond Zork, the 4th game in the old text-adventure Zork series, when I found that one flawed move in the first ten minutes of the game invalidated the last two hours. THAT'LL teach me to play video games.)(No it won't.)

Never did get the scanner to work, but I still have a few tricks to try. Like cussing.<P>------------------
