By the way, I was thinking of sending this to her even <i>before</i> I found out about the tattoo. The fact that I just found out about <i>her</i> not being able to "go back" on something she did to her body just clinched it for me. Wonderful timing on this one, Randy! (I love being the Big Brother--I'm the only one in the family who's seeing the humor in this whole thing.)

Comicgram sends HTML formatted stuff -- I have no idea what will happen if she can't handle it. Maybe she'll get a bunch of HTML code and not know how to make sense of it. I'd love it if you sent it anyway just to see what she gets, and then maybe email her the URL as well.

I drew this picture and laughed and laughed, and threw on the caption after rejecting a few others:
"Then one fateful day, Bumbo came across a mirror, and finally understood why it was harder for him to reach leaves." (Before I drew in the bandages.)

"After two weeks of anxious waiting, Lumbo finally got to see the results -- and was thoroughly upset."
Anyhow, glad you liked it -- I loved it, which always makes me feel better about posting it.<P>------------------

Yeah, I've had people send me HTML-encoded messages to me on that computer before, and it just comes through as a bunch of tags. Hmm . . . this is <i>so</i> perfect, too. Would it be really really bad if I were to save the image and send it to her as an attachment? We don't have 'net access at home; it's a dial-up e-mail account (which is why HTML doesn't work). I'll be sure to mention your name and everything, and I'll tell her not to pass it on.

Oh that's fine -- I didn't mean to say NO or anything. Passing it along is fine -- though I don't know how you'll include the caption. That was why I suggested sending the URL instead. You go girl!

I'd just attach the comic and type the caption in the message. Or maybe edit the GIF to include the caption at the bottom (as well as the URL).<P>--Howard

Does ComicGram send HTML-formatted messages, or does it send the comic as a file attachment? I ask because I want to send my sister (who loves elephants and is currently in a <i>helluva</i> lot of trouble for getting a tattoo) today's Randym Thought, and her e-mail provider can't handle HTML.<p>[This message has been edited by Kan Kong (edited 02-04-2001).]
