Hey Randy, are you familiar with Noisemedia.com? They're looking for a writer. Frankly, I think your body of work is superior to theirs as far as content goes, but they do have some great animation and Flash stuff. I'll probably send them an email resume myself, but I don't have an awesome body of work to direct them to.
Web based animation is about to take a great turn in the next year (IMHO). There was such a glut over the last 2 years, now is when the weeds get pulled and the truley talented folks start to shine. (That's Randym Thoughts.)
Anyway, I don't know if you have a day job or if this company is worth working for, but if you want more info, email me.

Cool. I'd love more details -- I can't believe any website is hiring these days, but if they're doing legitimate contract work, then suh-weet.
------------------

Like I said, your work is lightyears beyond the quality of stuff they currently have. The only thing that impressed me about them was the look of the sites -- the building with the boombox-like buttons on top and the dumpster next to it. Not genius, but interesting.
By the way, Randy, what is your day job? Or is Randym Thoughts all you do...?

Ugh.

I went out to NoiseMedia and watched one of their 'toons. Really foul stuff -- I don't think I'd be interested in helping the company out after all. Thanks for the heads up, though.
------------------

What is this "day job" of which you speak? I'm not familiar with that phrase...

Actually, I'm in the holding-off phase of working from home -- I run Singlesaints.com, a website for LDS singles, and seeing if I can make it start paying the bills within the next couple of months, before breaking down and getting a real job. I studied computer science for two years before switching to screenwriting, where I got my BA, but I'd much rather be writing screenplays while my website brings in cash than write code for some database blah blah blah kill me blah.

Randym Thoughts is a fun creative outlet, and if I ever REALLY start dedicating time to the artwork and humor, it might go somewhere. Like up.
------------------

Ah... sounds like you're trying the same sort of craziness that I embarked on 8 months ago. I was a truck driver for 6 years before I quit to try the self-employed shtick -- graphic design, with an emphasis on Storyboarding. I can draw, but I'm not funny. Otherwise, I would have added web-cartoonist to the list...
Good luck, man.
