News:
Some of you readers may have noticed recently that Netscape sucks. This realization, albeit tardy, came because you could not view Randym Thoughts. Note bene: Microsoft is still evil, but they're also superior, and I don't go "fighting the man" when the man is an armed, 8-foot tall ninja, and all I've got to fight him is gingivitis.
For those of you who are fed up with Netscape (and this means you, everybody but dead people), Norton anti-virus is probably the way to go.

Was it the broken newsbox causing NS to barf?
I posted something similar on my forum not too long ago, adding the recommendation that people who, like, think evil is a bad thing or something check out Opera,Mozilla, or, if they're shackled to their Macs, iCab. Make your own life, and the lives of people who have to build the blasted web pages, a little bit easier.
------------------

Netscape suckiness
Yeah, it was the dead newsbox. I've since removed it, catering to the virus-laden Netscape users, and have no intention of putting it back up.
Last night I downloaded Netscape 6.0 out of sheer masochism, wondering if my judgments were too hasty. I heard it the executable was less than 400k, so I gave it a try.
It proceeded to have fatal errors every time I launched it. (Both times.) So I uninstalled it, and 4.75 is still here and is mildly worky, but I only use it when I can't get IE to refresh a page. (Anybody else get that? A page only shows the un-updated version when I shift-refresh, and then I load Netscape, and it shows the old page, but it WILL let me shift-refresh, then I close it, and when I shift-refresh in IE it suddenly works. Ideas? I thought maybe they were sharing a cache folder somewhere, but 'twasn't the case.)
------------------
