I'm so multilingual, it's scary. I'm not fluent in a single language, excepting the possibility of English, though there are still several words I don't know, but here's the list, in the order in which I learned them.

Basic

Spanish

Pascal

C

C++

Scheme

HTML (it calls itself a language, but it's the Pig Latin of computer languages.)
Java

JavaScript

Smalltalk

Perl

MySQL

I say this in staunch defiance of the fact that I can't get my MySQL database to work properly, I failed the class I learned Java for originally, I passed my C++ class by copying and pasting, and I really only wrote a report on Smalltalk.
Oh, but I once started a song in C. Wanna read it? OK!

Wowsers. That was impressive.
Can't help but be reminded of the equally cryptic but ingenious poem on your old website. If you still have that one somewhere, why don't you post it here for all to see and be amazed anew, at the Wonder That Is Randy?
Back before there were trees, I have taken two semesters of high school French, 2 years of Latin, and one college semester each of Spanish and Russian. Therefore, I can count to ten in a hopelessly pathetic hash composed of mostly-forgotten Spanish and French hybrids, sending listeners of all ages into peals of derisive hoots. This is usually followed by a marked inability on my part to remember even basic words in English. And a deep slide into depressive behavior. So don't ask me to count to ten in any language besides Navajo, okay? Ever.
I have been known to write a poem or two, however...

Geez, Howard...I was hoping somebody who hadn't SEEN Randy's poem before would spend some time trying to figure it out. It would have been fun to imagine people scratching their heads and thinking, "I don't get it--what's there to figure out? OHHHH!!!! Whoa. Clever lad, that Randall Stone Tayler!"
But NOOOOOOO-O-O-O-O... Big Brother the Show-Off has to come by and ruin the suspense by
saying, "Oh, I remember that one, blah blah blah."
Bad Howard. Go to your room! (And while you're there, you might as well scan in and color some more Schlock strips, and send me a funny email.)
[This message has been edited by KareNin (edited 01-04-2001).]

Now, THAT is REALLLLLLLY cool.
Golly. I'd scold you more often if it makes you perform fun tricks with the message board. You, my dear Howard, are a marvelous jerk and a blunder. Scold, scold, scold.
Are you still in your room having Time Out? Because I haven't received a funny email yet... Oh, wait--I think I owe you one.
Never mind. Anyhow, that's tr
