The server has gone boom, no, will wheaton had nothing to do with it (as far as I can tell,) it just coinsided with the same time the server just blinked off the internet.

All the crashes that have been happening throughout March suggest a hardware problem, so someone is going to physically look at the server tomorrow, um er today.

We are waiting word from Gav as to what caused the comic server to die on us. He's going down to our colo provider to eyeball the server.
