Audience: Those who would like to understand why some Muslims become suicide assassins.
In America it is difficult for us to imagine why someone would give their life in order to kill others. Suicide assassins and terrorists are something we fear for good reason. If someone has no fear of death in accomplishing the goal of killing others, they are capable of killing almost anyone. No method is too extreme, as we all witnessed to our horror on September 11, 2001. The causes of these suicide assassins include such things as a fear that Western society is encroaching upon their culture, misunderstanding of secular society, and the desire to reclaim ownership of places that are sacred to them.
