Silly Optimism

Post by Cheez »

I figured out what made Artentir make that silly "look on the bright side" statement. His head was crushed into a pancake by his backpack. You see, the backpack made a *whump* sound, showing it ended by hitting a flat surface that gave way a little. So in order for that to happen, Artentir is now what I like to call, a paper head. Notice the author only drew him a few times between then and the sacks over there heads, and my theory is, that Artentir is so grotesque now, that he had to be drawn normally to not apall the fans and make them flee in horror.

In conclusion, I rock.

Really? Because I found it odd and out-of-character.

I am in awe at your expertise in the realm of animational physics and their related sound effects.

An interesting theory, but truth be told, Artenir's lack of appearance was due primarily to the author's inability to get him into the frame in such a way as to be both recognizable and not overlapping someone's legs like a bad polygonal model in an even worse 3D platform game.

Of course, that could very much lend credence to your Ugly Art theory.

So in that case, let's just say Art performed the whole stick-your-thumb-in-your-mouth-and-inflate-your-head thing sometime during his off-screen time.
