That's really great Angie. Yep, the characters were obvious too, you can draw them really well. Cartoon or not.

I don't know if Dakota's met his full growth yet, but if he has, that hound would be in BIG trouble!
(Cats have five weaponsm where canines have only one)
Beautiful drawing!
------------------

Angie> Hmm. Ok, i can see the darker bit.
The Jeep? *stars at it for a few minutes* uh... maybe could sit a little lower, but i think it's porportioned fine. It should be about Jeff's height, shouldn't it?
As for Dakota, i don't see that it doesn't look furry... huh? *L* can THEY draw individual hairs, huh? *L* And do cougars flare that ruff of fur at their necks like regular cats do when they are mad? just wondfering.
And good LUCK getting that many leaves drawn. *L*
So doi you get to redo it before it's graded? or just for the other versions?
Macclint> Hi, nice to meet you. :) *waves*

I noticed Duke's teeth but I didn't want to say anything, I just figured that the Hound jaw structure was different.
As for the Jeep being out of proportion, it isn't. It's parked on a slope and the front wheels are facing inwards as if the driver had turned before hitting the brakes. I have seen people park like that though. To those that hadn't however it may look somewhat out of proportion.

Well, Angie knows I have no eye for the kind of little critiques she got. I just think it's pretty, what else can I say? *L* Since the assignment was to make a picture that excites people I think that works fine. Lots going on there. *l*
And Macclint, I have seen your comic. Seeing as I have never enough time for anything (I need to learn how to plan. *l*) I didn't read it, but it sure looked quite impressive, if it's the one I'm thinking about. :)

A colouring book? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Your coloured picture of me, Polly, Nooit and Keebler is still my favourite, so... *l*

Sorry Ang. It won't work. I can see what's happening here though. It's only going to work if it's linked from the Geocities site itself. It's using the HTTP-REFERER to note from and if that states that the image wasn't linked from the Geocities servers, it won't allow it to be shown.
It's their 'protection' against people trying to circumvent their advertising, their motto is, if you want to use their servers you have to and there's no two ways about it. So there's only two things you can do I think, upload a HTML file to link to the image and then link to that or simply upload it to a host that doesn't believing in all the nonsense that Geocities does. ;> Like www.f2s.com for example.
Am I the only one experiencing this though? Getting the 'Sorry, you can't access this' page? I've noted that no one else has replied here so ...
Hey, since I posted first, does that make me one of the drooling, raving, whatnot DR fans? ;p

SW> Yeah, geocities has been turning snotty all of a sudden, that's why angie had to move the graphics and stuff for the comic page, too. But that URL to teh animation SHOULD work if you cut and paste it into the window instead of clicking the link. Give that a try. :)
I'm gonna take a look at that url you put up, too, i'm sick of not being able to link to the chat room now, too, why do they think i stuck with a crappy site like geocities in the FIRST place, huh? ;)

I recommended www.f2s.com because they were the fastest I'd seen speed wise but they were no thrills as far as I remember. It was just 20MB and that's that really. There are other hosts out there almost as fast as F2S, without ads and offering more too. Like CGI access for example.
FreeWebSpace would be a good place to take a look at before you decide on where you want your new website to be hosted. If you don't need anything other than plain ol' HTML, JS and JAVA though then go with F2S.
As for cutting and pasting. Well, I must've been having a mentally lazy day. I even tried using a program of mine to alter the damned HTTP-REFERER without trying that. ;>
[This message has been edited by SpiritWolf (edited 03-06-2001).]
