What, the frequency of posts is too high? Isn't it a good thing that Dakota's Ridge is popular? ;>

This is, of course, my response to Mel's carping about being off topic. You can't be off topic here because there isn't a topic! Mwah ha ha....
Ok, maybe this can just be for random thoughts that don't fit anywhere else, but aren't really worth a whole topic.

Ooooo...I want one of those jet packs!
Hmmm....I think only Angie can close a thread, but I'm not sure.
My random thought: Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight? (Sorry, the song is stuck in my head).

Erm, why banjos? Maybe because Guybrush Threepwood played one and they were mentioned many times in Peanuts? Guybrush Threepwood is my hero, he rules! Not even mentioning that he probably has one of the coolest names in existance. ;>
[This message has been edited by SpiritWolf (edited 10-24-2000).]

*Points at the flying thing* Hey! They stole MY idea! I had that idea when I was six! ... next they'll be stealing my chewinggum-that-doesn't-lose-it-'s-flavour-on-a-bedpost idea too...
And yeah, that next topic thing is a bit annoying... Why doesn't NASA invent something for THAT, huh?

{begins to think he's the only person that never uses the next newest / oldest comic}
{nods at Arno} Science is recreating all the dreams of our childhood currently it seems. ;p Had I been able to find it, I would've shown you the rocket-spring-shoes (I am really not kidding) too. ;>

SpiritWolf> Rocket spring shoes? o.O Do I even want to know? *l* That just sounds downright... Well, dangerous. We all know what happened to Inspector Gadget all the time.
Oh, and I just realised something. As SpiritWolf noted earlier, we all seem to know each other already. It might be nice to say where we all come from. Basivcally, we all met up in a chatroom called the Station 8 Gargoyles Chatroom, dedicated to the Disney show "Gargoyles", and in which we discuyss everything except Gargoyles. I hope all chatrooms are like that, I wouldn't want to be odd...
Anyway, you can probably recognise us cause most of us are in the habbit of attributing posts to specific people by typing their name followed by a '>'. *l*
This would probably also be the place to appologise for my slow, slow posting... so much to do, so little time. Thank God for weekends.
And finally, SpiritWolf, you fight like a dairy farmer. *l* Let's hope you get that reference, cause I didn't get yours.

Well, I just meandered here from another site. I originally mailed Angie suggesting KeenSpace (though I doubt I was the the first to give that advice) since she'd have better archives. Since the move I'd been hoping there would've been a messageboard and lo, one turned up and I just started posting. A bland yet factual story. ;>
As for my reference; Curse of Monkey Island. He challenges that guy to "Banjo's" to get him to join his crew, you win by shooting the other guy's banjo. ;> ... and yes, of course, I know yours. The first insult that appears in Monkey Island one, right before {cue very dramatic music} The MACHINE! ;>
"Is this going to hurt?"

SpiritWolf> Aha... YOu were one of her early fans then. *l* No fair, I want fans too! But without all the hard work. *L*
*lol* Maybe I should see if I can find that game somewhere. Only ever played I and II... Now, let's confuse people with silly quotes.
"Look behind you! A threeheaded monkey!"

Well, you know ... I'm selling these fine leather jackets.
Edit Again, I hope Angie doesn't kill me for posting inappropriate links but have you see The Underdogs Arno? www.theunderdogs.org, go there, have fun, download and be merry. ;> Some other places you might want to check out, www.tuol.org, www.abandonkeep.com and www.trojansoft.com .
[This message has been edited by SpiritWolf (edited 11-02-2000).]

Let's see, it's Friday, so I'll leave you with some words to think about over the weekend. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/wink.gi ... ienation's for the rich and I'm feeling poorer every day."
That should be sung actually, but that's hard to do here.
