My credits in art in college numbered a grand total of 4...and honestly, I only learned how to draw weird abstract crap and use apples and graphite pencils. The place I really learned how to draw was in math class.

Art Class Memories
Hah,
I took a ton of art classes in high school but it was mostly the same way for me. We never learned anything useful, though I can carve a heck of a wax fox.
