So, have you guys been waiting all this time for the election to finally end so you could use this gag? And did you have it partly written, just filling in the blank when you found out who actually did win it?
Inquiring minds want to know.
JoBeth looks cute in the cap, too.
And since JoBeth is wearing her hair down all the time, does that mean that Jackie can wear hers up again?
Inquiring minds want to know.
-Zodo

I love the "Total Loser In The White House" headline. It just emphasizes the hell our country's probably gonna go through in the next four years.
I'm already packed to flee to Canada. Anyone care to join me?
------------------

Actually, I hear congress is almost completely balanced out. I don't think G.W. is going to be able to do anything drastic. And I doubt he'll make a re-election.

Actually, I thought of that joke a couple weeks ago in the car, when Joey and I were complaining to each other that Bush will probably win.
I forgot about it until he actually DID win, and rushed to do the comic.
So yeah, I guess we did sort of wait to run it, but if Gore had won, this joke wouldn't have seen the light of day.
And I can do more with JoBeth's hair than I can with Jackie's, so Jackie's will probably be up, down or ponytailed....but not much else.

I have no idea what's going to be happen the next time the legislature goes up for election though.
--Michael
------------------

Oh, and the cap isn't her's. It's Darron's. Or, shall I say, Davey's...Waiow! Gap!
Joey is currently unavailable due to working hard on the upcoming strips and celebrating the upcoming holiday, so JoBeth is here to fill in, on her views of our new president.
"So, like, the Republican Party? I love parties! Like, where's the beer? Davey? Davey? Come back here, you big silly!"
