My friend Kathryn emailed me "look, pooky, nancy has her own comic strip!" and a url to the "got brains?" strip. Been reading since.<P>Nancy is a recent girlfriend. Perhaps Kat was making some kind of point here. But being a guy and all, it's a bit too subtle for me to figure out.

Just out of curiosity...how'd y'all find out about <B>JoBeth</B>?<P>I got lucky - I happen to have known BJ (the artist, pronounced 'Beej') for about 15 years. I got a big envelope in the mail, and it had about 40 JoBeths in it. STILL one of the coolest things I've ever gotten through the postal system.<P>-Shannon

Thanks for suggesting Livinging in Greytown, it was really, really neat! I read through the whole archive last night, and laughed or went 'Oh my God, i can't believe he did that!' at least every two or three strips. I like JoBeth, too (both are in my hand-dandy comix bookmark folder now).<P>------------------
