Okay! I admit it! The link buttons on my main page look HORRIBLE.
But how do I fix them? I am using Illustrator to make transperent giffs and pngs. I have some other software as well. Does anyone know of anything that might work better?

I'd suggest changing the font. Where you have the first and back buttons, I thought it was the title of today's comic and that it was called "FirstBock." I think the italics is doing more harm than good.

I'd actually suggest some sort of border, or shape, to make it LOOK like a button. Like VCC said above, you might as well just be using text, the way you have it now...
