Anybody have any experience with them? Any good?

They go down in size to 0.1 mm which is smaller than anything else I've seen. The 6x0 Koh-i-noor rapidograph is close, but the one time I tried to clean the one I had I appear to have ruined it.

The Micron pens I use go to 0.05 mm, as far as I've seen. In other news, why didn't you just put this in the other thread about pens?

Well, he's asking about a specific kind of pen.

In my experience, Microns are actually thicker than true technical pens like Rapidographs, despite what it says on their caps. The .25mm Micron I have makes a wider line than the .25 Rapidograph. Technical pens have a metal tip that won't wear down or fray out.

Are Artlines like Rapidographs, do you have to fill them with ink? The pictures I've found aren't a big help.

How were you cleaning your 6x0? Did you just put the pen tip in cleaning solution or did you try to dismantle the whole thing down to the wire?

My micron could kick your rapidograph's butt... and artline will watch.

Putting the pen in cleaning solution didn't clear the clog so I tried dismantling it. Expensive mistake.

Dburk, I've used a series of Staedtler pens before, which range from size in .05 to .005. Before I switched to the brush, I had to constantly switch tools, and I've found the Staedtlers and their tips do not like pressure at all. In fact, I've bent a few 01's in my time. I found it required too much tip finess.

I've never had a Staedtler's tip break or bend on me, you must push down awfully hard. I regularly use 01s and haven't ever had a problem.

Must have been that lightning when you were a kid. Do your hair and eyes change color too?

Nope. And to be technical, Ultra isn't really superstrong either
