I'm at another stumper with my webcomic.

I draw my comic a couple days ahead, and I have a personal quota of drawing five a week, so that I can always stay ahead and slack off a bit during the school year. I need to draw one tonight and two tommorow to meet this quota.
I'm really stumped as to what to do next.
The Current Cast, Andy, Ian and The Marks are heading down from the camp grounds to Livermore Ca where Andy is from. They're going to visit his family. The strip I need to draw is where they arrive in Livermore. Here are the details:
-Andy is the only person from California's central valley. The rest are from down south.
-Andy is a Pastor's kid who is still a little bit bitter about it.
-Earlier, Ian accidently shot Andy with a Pellet gun and has caused him to limp.
I don't know what might be a "funny" that can happen when Andy returns home after a time away at college. I was thinking that an obsesive ex-girlfriend could show up, but I don't know if I could pull that off convincingly.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm up for anything really.

What about having the family be different somehow? A house renovation? Maybe his parents got a really UGLY dog, because it 'followed them home'? How about a family reunion?
Without much knowledge of your comic, there's not a lot specifically I can suggest for you, but those are some of my best ideas.

Surely you can bring the limping leg back into the story.
Maybe his dad notices his limp and Andy tells him he was shot in the leg with a pellet gun by Ian because.... and Dad just shrugs his shoulders and simply says 'well you've gotta learn somehow'.
Or something like that.

House renovating obsessive ex-girlfriend zombies with limps having a family reunion.
Okay, bad idea, but why not throw an evil billionaire into the mix?

why is that a bad idea?

I was thinking the obssesive Ex-Girlfriend could be hyper-spiritual and tries to heal Andy's leg through prayer.

My target Audience is the College Student Demographic, not the Twelve Year olds.

I am in college. I'm a pre-med student, senior year. And I, yes even I, am amused by fart jokes

I'm pretty sure the only person I know who isn't is my mom.

Don't insult twelve year olds! They're cleverer than that.

The son of a Pastor retuning to his home town suffering from a wound he got in a gun fight. He is just looking for some peace and quite and a place to heal but sometimes the world does not oblige a person.
You have to go western with a setup like that.
Standard western setup is: “The greed villain is trying to force the good people of Livermore Ca off of their land so he can buy it up cheap for and make a profit. He set a gang of hooligan out to harass the people who will not sell. The hero come into town for a rest. He ain’t looking for trouble and don’t care none if the villain is buying up land. All this changes when the hero’s father figure stands up to the villain gang but is defeated. Now it’s personal and he hero bands together with others men of consequence to vanquish the villain and avenge his father. Will the villain gone the Livermore Ca is safe again for the common folk and the hero and his gang ride off into the sunset.”

You over-estimate the maturity of most college students. Particularly if they're in certain...altered...states of mind.

Have a 10 km asteroid hit their house while they're having dinner.
The End.
