Critique for relaunch

Hey, I used to do a comic called Monopoly of Truth on keenspace but unfortunately it just petered out. I'm going to be relaunching it again soon, and was wondering what criticisms (constuctive please) people could offer me for the relaunch.

A few notes first though:
-The art is gonna be in the style of the picture thats currently on the front page, and I'm not too good an artist so thats the best I can do (although I'm doing a LOT of practice :p)
-It is going to be a complete restart, with only one of the original characters remaining (Dom)
-It is going to have a plot based around Dom's relationship with this girl he meets whilst leafleting.

So please, help me fix my old mistakes.

First of all, your arts not that bad. Lots of poeple make comics here that look alot worse. Adequate Amount of ninja comes to mind. They had absolutely shitty art, done in MS paint, but they got away with it cause they were really funny. You're consistent within the strip, which is very important. It makes it look good, and aids in character identification.
Also, a thought that gets offered alot in this forum. Put some next and previous buttons directly below the strip, for poeple going through the archives. Often, you can click without excessive scrolling, but sometimes you have to scroll through the whole newspost to get to them. Which is fine for everyone who wants to read your newsposts, but not for the ones just browsing your archives. Just put the ***previous_day** and ***next_day*** tags in your newspost, and CG should take care of it.
Other than that, looks good to me.

thanks for the encouragement on my art :D, i've always felt that it wasn't very good and your nice comments made me happy :D.
and with regards the comments about the next strip etc, i read about that earlier today and thought it was a good idea and i wanted to adopt it :p.

incidentally, i'm thinking about putting the old comics in a seperate archive by putting them into a seperate folder.
any comments on whether or not this would work and also any tips on how to do it?

hmmm..

1) copy all your old comics that you wish to seperate onto your harddrive from /public_html/d/, and all the accompanying images from /public_html/comics/, and then delete all that stuff(the files, not the folders) from the server.

2)Alter your index_template.html to include a link(http://your_comic_url/d/the_first_of_your_old_comic_pages.html). Load, Full update.(full, because we need the server to realize that the old archives arent there anymore.)

Edit: also, delete the next button from the very last of your old archive, as well as the previous(if applicable) from your first.

3) Load all that stuff you saved right back to where it was. That should do it.

*Disclaimer* I would check with Kisai or someone first, just to make sure this will work. It should, and of course, if it doesn't as long as you have the original comics you can still erase everything and start over, but still. Check.

does anyone else have any comments for how I could improve? i'm particularly interested in my writing because i feel that thats where i'm weakest. site design would also be a useful area for help.

i'm putting up a test comic to try out the format tomorrow, so please give me some feedback on that too please.
