New mainpage template

Sorry to post another thread so soon, but I'd like some opinions on a new main page template I've been working on.

New: http://warofwinds.comicgenesis.com/indextemplate2.html

I got really tired of updating thumbnails and links for the comics on the original page, also tired of the newsbox not always working or showing poor quality images. So basically, comic on the main page. Thoughts or suggestions?

I like having the comic on the front page. I don't like having to scroll to the right to see all of it. My laptop is only 800x600 and yes, I read comics on it all the time. My suggestion would be to put the comic on the left and the navigation/tagboard on the right. That's up to you, though.

It's a bit crowded. I would tend to move all the clutter beneath the comic somewhere. The trouble is that you have quite a bit...

I wouldn't worry too much, though. Lots of people have webpages like that. It seems to be a defacto webcomic standard so even if it is a problem, everyone will just accept it as being normal anyway. Clearing around the comic is pretty much just a preference of mine.

Joel: Yeah, I kinda like clutter if you couldn't tell ^^ I personally can't stand bare main pages, and I want everything, all news and links, small but also in main view.

Looks good to me.

I like how the site degrades gracefully for different screen sizes. Even if the 800x600 people need to scroll a bit to see the tagboard they do so because they want to not because they need to.

Yay, I'm glad it turns out okay in other resolutions! I had to keep remembering that not many use 1280x800 like me,

My desktop uses 1280x1024, but I breakup the space into regions and only use 800x1024 for my browser size.

I think your page looks awesome. It's visually pleaseing and doesn't look too crowded to me. Everthing is right there where you need it. Looks pretty professional to me . I like it alot
