A tutorial for drawing motorcycles?

Post by JexKerome »

In our last episode:

Ignoring most of the sensible vehicle advice given to him by Faub and company, Jex blazed ahead with his comic, drawing odd-looking contraptions not unlike the Tonka Tots toy line.

This time, however, Jex faces a MUCH bigger challenge, as his storyline, ignorant of the fact Jex can't draw proper people, much less vehicles, dictates that he supply one character with a modern-style motorcycle (anything but a Hog, really).

Jex searched the Internet, but the only vehicle tutorials he found on his own were no good, being all text and advice instead of pictures and step-by-step instructions.

Undaunted, Jex then turned to his fellows at the Keenspace Forums, hoping they would have an answer to his dilemma...

Will the people at the Forums help Jex? Will he learn to draw less crappy vehicles? Will his avatar ever say something intelligent?

Only time can tell...
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.

My only advice is to find a picture to use as a guide (or to trace!).

I can't speak for motorcycle /tutorials/, but I imagine Jex could do as I do, when I'm not sure how to draw something.

Just go to Google, hit the "images" tab, type "motorcycle", and browse the 375,000 hits. Or if you want to narrow it down, try adding "Kawasaki" to the search-string.

::shrug:: 'swhat I do, anyway.

If you can pull it off, I'd rather you just do a quick sketch of a parked motorcycle.

Hopefully when the owner returns, he/she will understand. ^_^
