Coming back from a con recently a fellow artist I met there who also uses ink recommended marker paper over bristol. A good marker paper supposedly will avoid bleed through just as well as bristol without the problem of sucking the brush dry as bristol does. If you like copics like me, you know that paper being too absorbent gets expensive. I've managed to find some locally, and I'll report back if it works out.

Well lets face it, its not just the paper, it's the pen. Some are just... inkyer than others.

I like digital because I already own all the stuff I need and never need to replenish ink or paints. I couldn't afford the materials I'd need to put out a traditional comic. Also I lack reliable access to a scanner, so... pencil sketches not happening.
