I like it. It has a nice look to it. So, if it's noir-ish, will it have heavier blacks in the finals, or will it be open line work like you've presented?

Nice...although you gotta watch out for that natural tilt to the left all your stuff has!

Not bad, but this probably should go to Techniques and Tips, and not General Discussion.

That looks really nice until you see how un-straight the gun is. That kinda takes away from the first picture there. You should probably invest in a ruler, especially if you're going to take a shot at the CG sampler cover.

I like the way you draw eyes, and would like to see this in color.
Caught in the headlamp glare of your own blinding vanity/Mesmerised by the stare of your shallow personality
Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die

I really like variety in how the cast looks. There is that natural tilt to watch out for though.

...OH. Sorry, I'm tired. I didn't really see that tilt you were talking about, but it's VERY evident in the last picture. Yeah. Invest in a ruler.

I didn't see it, due to being tired, and I thought you meant "tilt" like how Escushions art is all bendy and tilted. I see what you mean now though. Yikes.

rulers are for tools. personally, i like organic lines and such, but maybe that's why i'm a large fan of duffies' and komp's styles. (aand it explains my own. XD)

and: i want to colour your arttt comp.

i demand as one of those sixteen readers arting to colour. XD

er, and on another note i always like your distinct characters. very easy to recognize and all with their own personalities.

(but i'm serious, i want to colour what you're drawing! you should give me lines for the page you'll be doing so i can have my hand at it.)

buster: thanks, i'd like to make it deeper in tones, i draw it freehand in regular pen, since this is like a side noir thing.

jack: yeah i see the tilt, i dunno where that comes from laziness, or rushing it.
i was going to fix it in photoshop but these aren't final, so i guess i can always do that.

rkolter: it's a big slab of cartoonish blood falling off his chin. (nada's shaded)

Tdot: yah the gun isn't realistic, cuz i stink at drawing guns. and plus the gun is supposed to kinda look really unrealistic, do to it's presence in the story.
i drew the back cover of the genesis sampler three (i didn't color it) but that was sort of a rush too. http://thedoom.be/samplers/ComicGenesisSampler3.pdf (on the left)

RA: yeah i love doing organic lines, and yes, we can work together on something cool, i think u have a great style of your own.
thanks for the props on character design, i love making evryone
stand out.

Jnorth: i literally draw on 8x11 paper, so i tend to limit myself on ruler and
T-square use, though, now i decided to use it on buildings, because i could
never do them justice.

Tools. Right. I ever tell you you're adorable when you're out of your mind? :P

DELICIOUS pun there though. :E

I -WOULD- be interested in seeing you do some team up work together. Provided you both stay focused on it, it could come out really wonderful, cause I think coloring is one of your strong points, RA.

Organic lines just don't work for firearms though. Droopy guns = D:

heehe. 'droopy' 'guns' :D!

i dunno, i've seen some really well done ones but it takes a good bit of skill and even a bit moar practice.

also yes, colouring is my ONLY strong point besides sharp teeth. XD

i think you've adapted my elf ears quite well, even making them look like you've twisted them further into "RA-Dom". I also like your "Fag" shirt on the red demon thing you did. :E
