Well, the past Saturday was free comic day in honor of the release of the Spider-Man movie (which broke every record possible for a movie that's only been out one weekend) and in honor of comic book companies really needing to boost their readership. The question is - did any of you all do anything special for free comic day?
Down here in Austin, a friend of mine (Thornton from the Panel Jam) and I made a comic which we proceeded to give to comic book stores to distribute! It's really awesome. There are three mini-stories in there:
1. Chutes and Ladders (based on my childhood)
2. Evil Genetically Enhanced Cybernetic Ninjas
3. The Adventures of Captain Omnipotent
When I get home and gain access to a scanner, I yoink 'em all and thow 'em up on the Turbocool page!
