Well, I've changed over from the mailing script which was failing for a lot of people to a CGI posting script that actually works! As you may have guessed, since it works it's not one I've written or even am running from my own server. I think I might have to actually try writing to my host to get the information I need to host CGI scripts instead of just trying to guess. This form service though seems okay. All it does it send you to a thank you page with a banner ad, no popups, pretty harmless really!


Now.. for the other news item. Myforum.net seems to be in its death throws. During the day it doesn't seem to acknowledge that there are any forums on it, though late at night you can load it normally and post. I think the company is trying to cut on bandwidth costs, and will be gone shortly. So that's why I'm going to use this board. I mean... I have it already, it won't be going away, I hope, and it's free. I'm going to look for another one too, for all those people who enjoy commenting without having to log in to anything and miss the set up of the old board. I don't know how long this will take though... I'm sure Sage is disappointed. Hey... I tried! I didn't want the other board to die. I should be able to save the messages though.

Meh.. I need to go make banners. I want to use those dorky little sprites I have on my link buttons for them, but then I'm afraid everyone will think this is a sprite comic.

It works great now. And the ad was easy to ignore.

Like everything else on Keenspace, this board is extreamly slow. But it is free.
