Incidentally, did you guys see the new comics? And site layout? Stuff? That's what I've been doing to avoid having to do my homework. Don't they, uh... suck less than normal? Eh? Huh? Oh ho ho?

whatwhatwhat?? To be honest I'd reduced checking for updates to once a month... I wasn't due till Sunday... but with this... sacre-bleu!!

All in due time! I've barely been getting the comics out... I apparently need to do a bunch of, like... schoolwork. Or something. I'll probably turn on the forum building, though, so that people can get in here.

Maybe. Tell you what.
Once you finish revamping your site, get 5 comics or so done and update them in a regular stream as if you were adhereing to some sort of schedule (haha..schedule!), then pitch yourself in the comic pitching forum. That'll get all the new kids rushing in their hoardes.
Then, when they're all gathered in one place... hit the lights and release the trapdoor!!!

I forgot what you're supposed to gain from this though. Notoriety I suppose...

I'm actually not all that worried about it. ARG as a webcomic has honestly never been very popular, and probably never will be (maybe regular updates would fix that. Who knows?) But I've given up on the initial "I'm gonna be famous on the internet!" delusion that so many webcomics have when they first start out. I really don't even care about that anymore.

I'm really only in this for kicks and giggles now; when I get in the right state of mind, I really, really enjoy making comics and practicing writing stories with easy-to-draw characters. I'm in that spot right now, but if it starts to interfere even slightly with my schoolwork it's getting dropped like a smelly hat.

So, yes, I might complain about how nobody ever stops by sometimes, but I'm too busy to try to schmooze with the upper ups for linkage or stuff like that anymore. I'm just having fun, and if other people like it so be it.

(This is also why I've started doing comics again, I've actually had a huge number of pretty good plotlines, and have tried to make several of them into animations, but animations that don't suck take a loooong time to make, especially if you're the only one working on them. So I've recently decided "Screw it, sequential art is practically animation", and I'll save animating the big stories for when I'm actually cool and famous in the real world and not just on the internet.) (Hopesies!)

I don't actually expect any of you guys to read this / care. Raaaaaaant, and awaaaaaaaay!!

Anywa~ay: I think It'd be swell if you placed a link to your homepage on the latest comic - I keep having to press back.

I know what you mean man. I barely update my comic. I just do it when I feel creative, the need to get something out of my system. I've been working on the same plot for a year now. meh.

Oh yeah, um... sorry I didn't put up a new comic on Wednesday, or today. It's sort of midterms right now and they are eating my face. I'm working on another animation for class, though, it'll be way cooler than that stupid ball thing. Should have it done and up here in a couple weeks, tops. Hopefully a lot sooner.
