Apology

Having just posted the most recent strip, I would like to apologize for it. It isn't funny, I don't know what I was thinking the entire time I was drawing it. This whole "character development" thing is tricky, I dunno why I keep having delusions of good writing.

I found it lacking in the punchline department, but the 'I later found that people don't like that' bit actually amused me quite a lot.

I have a job at a toy store at the moment. It's extremely easy, but very dull and time consuming. It pays for stuff, though, which is nice.

Also, do punchlines really have to go at the end of the strip? There's a lot of stuff I've done that I think the last panel isn't all that special, but everything leading up to it is great. Plus I hate the idea that comics are just illustrated jokes, which is what 90% of newspaper comics seem to have devolved into. Five or six panels leading up to a corny punchline. No, thanks.
