Dodge, that's so cool about the reorienting! I would try it, but it's not really good for you... And poisonous things are scary...

wolf spiders and white tailed spiders do not have palps at the front of their jaws to clean their fangs, but a bacteria grows there which causes the trapped food to rot away. this is why a bite from these spiders are so bad, as the bacteria gets into your flesh and begins to eat it away.
interestingly enough, the bacteria can be harvested as a new type of Cilin, as in penicilin, amoxycilin, clamoxycilin...etc. therefore a new type of antibiotic. the only biological source so far.
