you should not drink your own blood when thirsty, it dehydrates you even more, fluid loss and the induction of additional salt from the blood will end up giving your brain an overload of salts. Effectively causing brain meltdown as your brain becomes starved of fresh, oxygenated blood.

but the people who are in the desert dont have salt for days before and it does quench your thirst

no salt water is disgusting me barfed once cus i drunk to much sea water....they said about 4 pints

salt occurs naturally in everything we eat or drink, with two exceptions, oil and distilled water. every other food or drink item in the world has salt. blood will 'quench' your thirst pangs, as a liquid is sensed in your stomach, but it will dry you out internally. hence the dehydration, onset of psychological trauma to your brain, and then eventually deathfr om dehydration.

Youre mind plays tricks when you are dehydrated. you think your thirst is quenched from drinking blood, but its not.

Camels are specially designed to be able to survive on little water so they can live in the desert.

It's cool how every animal, plant, whatever, has adaptations for its environment.

First, I don't mean to offend anyone who doesn't believe in evolution. THat said:


That's true. But I think what that says is that the rest of our brain is for unconscious processes, like how it sends impulses to nerves and makes our hearts beat and stuff like that. It's not like the grey matter is just sitting there doing nothing. We just don't use it to think.

Humans should evolve more though. That would be good. I can't imagine we're the last stop on the evolutionary train. That would be sad.

i dont believe we need to evolve, we just need to learn more about our bodies, expand our knowledge and flex our mental muscle. imagine what we could achieve through greater knowledge. if everyone could read and write, speak multiple languages, learn to have an open mind, be more tolerant.

We dont need to evolve, we need to improve what we have now, before we move on up the evolutionary ladder.

((although if we could have an evolutionary leap, i would ask for wings!))
