dont think of it as brains you are eating. instead think of it as squishy velvet in your mouth.
i have to admit, i dry retch everytime i go to eat it, but if i dont know what it is i would eat it. Theres a few work functions and also tradeschool that we had to try everything. Warm lamb brain salad was the first thing they made us try. no-one was told what it was, until everyone had tried it. I felt sick for the rest of the day knowing what it was. Eating offal is something i dont enjoy at all. EERRGH yuck

icky.... thats really really really icky. be ashamed. I have somewhat more respect for the dead, especially animals. -_-;; they didnt choose to be murdered so school students can understand how their species works. *sniffle*

its not about how the species works. its to give an understanding of how a heart works. its not like you can go around borrowing a human heart is it? the animals hearts are usually in a good state of health, whereas most people who donate their body to science have bad parts to see.
students with a desire to become doctors or surgeons, would enjoy the learning associated with dissection. we can learn alot from healthy specimens on thw functions and reliablity of organs. with damaged or poorly treated we learn what not to do and the effect on our bodies.

hah we had to cut up a sheep's eye in science... Georgia cut it and then squeezed all the clear stuff out of it until it was flat! haha it was funny but creepy coz the eyes just watched you...
