Yami no Matsuie is a Anime... I think they catagorise it as a horror/Shonen Ai anime... though personaly I don't see the horror and its mostly suggested Shonen Ai (In my opinion.)

It's about Tzusuki who is a Shinigami (basicly Angel of Death. It's mainly a Shinigami's job to bring souls who should have died but havent to be judged for the after life.) And his new partner Hisoka.
The two get to learn to get along with each other and solve diffret cases involving stuff like if a person died but shoudlent have yet or should have died but havent...

Lots of murder casses and magic.

It has lots of bloody stuff in it but it's what I'd call romatic blood... If that makes sence O.o'

The series is dark but has something quite aluring to it...

And since I suck at explaning things heres a link to a good site with good info on Yami no Matsuie ^.^

http://theria.net/yaminomatsuei/intro.html

Oh yeah.. and ofcause there's a manga too o.o'

*nods* Yami no Matsuei is the most kick-ass animie i've ever watched. I've got some of the manga (translated to english) on my computer.

This sounds like a really fun topic to go on about...

lol Nah...I dun wanna borrow 'em...I hate borrowing things...>.< Besides...I really need to be earning these things myself. XP

And the way everyone keeps talking about Yami no Matsuie on here I just gotta see this too...

*also wishes to answer the question which wasn't directed at him*
I think Samurai Pizza Cats or Ronin Warriors were the first animes that I saw...maybe DragonBallZ or Thundercats (though I despise Thundercats now...its just yucky...)

*pokes her contry to get more in to anime*
We don't get all the cool animes here...
Well we just resently got Yu-Gi-Oh but they coulda done more out of the voice overs!
And whats the point of keeping the japanese names in the manga but using the english names in the anime O.o'?

*Huggles her Toboe avartar on Gaia* soo cute!

That reminds me... I was wanting to do a drawing of myself as a anime character... (that is taking my furry self and making it an anime humaish character.) And then taking something from each of my favorite anime characters and put on her.

Wolf's Rain - Toboe: His bracelets!
Yami no Matsuie - Hisoka: The curse marks o.o'
Yu-Gi-Oh - Yugi/Yami: The millinium puzzle!
Gravitation - Shuichi: ... I have... abselutly no idea what could symbolise him...

Shuichi Shindou is a young boy (well 19) just starting out in the music buisness with his small band Bad Luck. He wants to be just like his idol Ryuichi Sakuma. (who's a really funny character... he's the oldest in the series with an age of 31 but he looks about Shuichis age and acts like he's 5 most of the time O.o' He can act more serius when he wants to though *grins*)
One night he meets a man. Yuki Eiri. A pice of lyric Shuichi was working on gets caught by a gust of wind and is blown to Yuki (act of fate o.o'?) Yuki reads it and bluntly and rudely tells him he has no talent and that he should just give it up.
This ofcause has a very big effect on the sencetive Pink haired pop star and he scearches out Yuki to confront him with it. One of Shuichi's band members think he has a thing for Yuki (who's a famous novelist by the way.) and it soon turns out Shuichi is developing feelings for the blond man.

So the series pretty much follows Shuichi's fight to the top in the music buisness while trying to gain Yuki's love.
Oh yeah... and meanwhile revealing Yuki's deep... dark... secret!

It's a romance/humor series... Really I've laughed quite a lot and its really cute! ... It has some serius teames to it too though...
The anime is 13 eppisodes long. I don't know much about the manga other than it explaings things a bit better than the anime does and then it has a tottaly diffrent art style O.o'

But I recomend it :D

Aaaw, poor Phoenix. Sucks that you couldn't get it. Anime is so expensive. I love Evangelion... sigh. My boyfriend owns the whole thing, and we watched it together. Despite him warning me that it might not be a good idea since I had barely seen any anime before that, and Evangelion is so disturbing and complicated. But I loved it, and I wasn't scarred for life by it, unlike some people.

Oooo i want to see it pheonix could you tell me the order they go in please it really annoys me when i see the end before the begining

Well im pretty sure it just goes in order- like a series- Volume 1, 2, 3 and so on and so forth.. but watch the series before you see the movies ('Death and Rebirth' and 'The End of Evangelion') because they're like the end end of the series- the director, i recall recieved a heap of death threats and things because he finished the series so strangely so basically had to make the two movies- which are sooo cool but are both even more trippier then the series. *gasp*

But yeah you should so watch it! Want to know anything else?

I think the director forgot what he was originally going to do to end the series because it ended up changing around and getting so complicated. So he made one ending, then made another for the fans, then the next when he remembered how it was supposed to end. Or something like that. I dunno. I only saw the second movie, not the first, because the copy of the first that me and my boyfriend tried to watch was not working. Boo.
