through tragedy, suffering and loss we learn and grow, develop and mature. Allowing us to deal with loss over the years, it can better prepare us for larger losses in our lives. for example, how you felt when your first pet died. it may have been a goldfish, or a cat that got run over etc. what stays the constant is the emotions felt for that loss.

now extrapolate that into the loss we feel if a parent or close friend was to die suddenly. sure it hurts terribly and we miss them a great deal, even get a little de-railed for awhile. but we move on and go on with our own lives. would we be dishonouring their memory if we did not use life to our full advantage? i think so.

the time we are given here on this Plane should not be wasted, life should be seized in a squirrel grip and cherished everyday. learn something new, make a new friend, see a new place, laugh every day and do a random act of kindness.

the struggles we face only serve to make us more empowered, even if its just the knowledge of how we DONT want to be treated. there are times when we get used, abused and are hurt badly from it, emotionally, physically and mentally and spiritually. when the time comes you will be better able to deal with it when you have prepared yourself.

Dont dwell on the past but remember it, learn from it and then move on.
Look always to your future, but bring the good things from your past with you. leave the negative behind.

If everything was easy, why bother?

in my time here i have seen some terrible things, watched as a friend bleed to death in the front seat of a car after an accident, and i could not save him, called an ambulance to save a girl who slit her wrists after she was gang raped, by people she thought were her friends, spent a long time in hospital where people younger than me were worse off. through all of this, i wanted to do so much, being mortal has its limitations.

i have also seen and been part of some amazing things too. the wedding of best friends, the birth of new family members, a suicidal friend who was for awhile unable to let go of his past, recover to become one of the most influential people in my life. And i am still alive despite the trials in my life.

its not a competition on how bad your life is. I was merely stating that fro all the bad things i have seen, I have seen some amazing things too! thats all.

The love the person who dies leaves in the hearts of the ones left behind is not meaningless!

it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. the time we have here is so important, dont waste it with anger and hate.
