(Yeah Vampire ^.^ as noted not very original but meh ^.^)

Cassian had sat up while the fight was going on watching with awe and a slight bit of discomfort. He never did like fights much. He then blinked as the woman turned to speak to him. "Yes... How do you know my name?" He asked not reconicing her. He then shifted to stand wincing slightly as he did.

"I was there when you met Cat. If I remember correctly I asked if you had got a good look at the thing that was chasing you." She smiled slightly, "I'm Blake by the way." She nodded slightly and started to raise her hand, as if to shake Cassian's hand, but quickly jerked it back and burried both hands in her trench, remembering what had happened earlier.

"Oh!" Now he remembered. He'd been rather out of it at that time so he hadent really noticed. But now that she mentioned it... He smiled slightly and reached out for her hand blinking surprised as she pulled her own back. That was a weird action? "Um.. Well.. thank you. For saving me I mean." He sent her a smile befor sighing and rubbing his arm. "I lost Cat though..."

"Oh what happened," came a voice from the ally across the street and Van reappeared "Hi soryy it too me a while to get here i mean Rei got a lift, so you er want us to help you find him,"

Rei was surprised and slightly shocked when Blake grabbed her hand and they shimmered to the place where the Icaros sat/lay being attacked by the other vampire. Rei sighed loudly, what a lamoid (OOC: lol my own little made up word ^_^ and at the vampire not at Cass). She also felt a bit miffed when Blake had shot down her earlier request at helping her fix her wing because she usually didnt give out help a lot and if that sparingly.

Smiling at the cheriel's weird use of words, she decided to hang back on this one. He was such a pitiful vampire anyway- it shouldnt be too hard for the cheriel even with her damaged wing. I mean what sort of powerful vampire prayed on the weak (OOC: not saying that Cass is weak- he wasnt obviously his own self so you know) ?? What a loser..

She watched slightly in the shadows as Blake made short work of him. Those scythes are pretty cool, Rei thought to herself. She then felt Van come up behind her. She turned slightly, diverting Cassian's attention to her (OOC: hope you dont mind i took over him for a sec!) when she spoke:
"Well basically a really low form of vampire attacked this guy here and Blake sliced his head off," She moved into the light a little to look at the vampire. She kicked him til his body was on its stomch again (OOC: Im taking you chopped his head off Blake??) then snubbed the head with the toe of her boot- its mouth still grotesquely open- fangs barred.

"Stupid motherf* cker," she muttered under her breath, before she flicked out her hands, muttered some words under her breath and the body fastly disintigrated and was soon just a pile of dust that was swept away by the wind.

"What did you say your name was again?" she turned back to the Icaros, studying him closely, narrowing her eyes slightly.

(Actly I think someone like Rei would considder Cassian weak. He does have power but he don't use it much, he don't like fighting and even though he can would rather avoid it. And he's very Ukeish.. thend to get in to trouble a lot... So Yeah someone like Rei would proberly think him weak.)

Cassian looked at the two as they spoke. Then his gaze followed Rei over to the body of the vampire. Something he soon regetted. He felt sick at the sight of the blood slightly pooling around him.
Cassian turned away holding his head to his mouth and closing his eyes. He never was good with big amounts of blood and bodys. Proberly a child hood truma...
He dident look back til Rei spoke again. He blinked at her befor replying softly. "Cassian... My name is Cassian." He shifted a bit uncomfetable. He could tell none of them was human. But that was about all he could tell with out using his powers. He dident think they where a treat to him though. Ofcause he could be wrong...
Curently having his wings hidden he looked completly human... Well.. a human with white silverish hair and misty purple eyes.
You woudlent be able to tell what he was unless you had the abillity to sence thoes kind of things.
He then turned to Van. "And yes please.. If you would I'd be great full... I don't know... He might be in trouble... I.. I think one of his friends was killed..." He paused for a bit befor continuing. "We where going there... But I got lost..." He glanced to where the vampire had been. He needet to know someones aura better than to just be able to tell it was a vampire when he wanted to find someone... He'd remember that next time...

(Oh by the way just gonna let you know. If I dissaper for a little while It's because I wount have any internet for a while.
I don't know if its gonna happen or not but now i've left a warning ^.^
If I disapper in the middle of a RP with one of you just say that Cassian got lost.)

As cassian lookee over to Van he saw his misty purple eyes he walked over to him and grabbed his chin to look closer
"What are you," He said curiously
He looked over to Rei and Blake
"So do you wanna find this Cat guy or what,"

Cassian watched as Van walked over to him. Though he hadent expected the other to grap his chin. He gasped surprised and just stated at him for a moment shocked at the action. Why was he curius about that now? He wasent sure if he should say. There whent many of his kind left and Van proberly woudlent belive him anyway. Yet Cassian had never really been one to lie. "I am a Icaros." He said befor taking a step back making Van let go of him. He then glanced around at all of them. "Can I ask your names...?"

Rei flicked her eyes over Cassian. He was one of the only Icaros left- she knew that much. The few that she had met in her lifetime had been nice enough and she had felt sorry for their species when she had heard that they were dying out because of the constant vampire attacks that had happened 50 years ago (OOC: just making some stuff up- hope you dont mind)

She folded her arms over her chest, slouching to the side slightly. Her green eyes were bright beneath the low brim of her felt hat and her hair slightly curled over her arms. SHe rolled her eyes slightly as she watched Van walk over to Cassian. God, she hoped he wasnt one of those gay vampires, she shuddered slightly, especially since that were supposed to be working together (OOC: *wink* *wink*)..

When she heard the Icaros speak she said "My name is Reiangiila Sahelai. I suppose if you must, its Rei."

Suddenly her ears pricked. "Theres something or someone or some things headed this way- by the look of things your not in very good shape right now" she gestured to Cassian then turned seriously "I'll go check it out.... and dont worry, I'm a tough girl, I'll look after myself- I'll be back"

And with that she headed down between two streets and disappeared.

OOC: I hope everyone doesnt mind but I wanted to post another post straight after the one above coz im bored..

Rei started off down the alleyway, moving at a fast pace. Something dark was looming nearby and it sent her senses tingling. It was a really weird feeling and she couldnt quite shake it. She hadnt wanted to alarm anyone, sending herself along to see what was up.

Suddenly, she heard a loud 'meow' come from the shadows. Silas, jumped out and ran and jumped up into her arms. She buried her face in his warm body, taking comfort when she felt his body purring.

Setting him back down to the ground, she began walking more cautiously, moving through the shadows and piercing them with her senses trying to pick out something that wasnt quite right.

Suddenly she felt the thing rise up behind her. A shadow creeper. She couldnt she hadnt picked it! Pulling out her daggers she prepared herself and faced it. And suddenly another one jumped from the shadows to confront her.

Oh ok two shouldnt be too hard, she thought, jumping forth, scratching up the other before slicing her dagger across its neck. its head fell to the florr and she turned to the other. Another two more jumped from the shadows. Crap she was beginning to think. She managed in killing another one before others jumped out of the shadows and then more and some more. Soon around 15 of the shadow creepers surrounded her and Rei was feeling slightly panicky. She sliced and diced but they began pressing in on her, attacking at once.

She fell to the ground and just before she passed out, she hoped someone would come look for her

Blake blinked as she watched rei leave. There wasn't something...quite ..right about this situation. She wondered for a second what Rei had picked up that was heading in their direction but shrugged it off.

"Icaros?" Blake said curiously as she turned back to Cassian, "Arn't you guys supposed to have wings like Cheriels?" She asked, gesturing to her own wings which appeared abruptly.

"I don't suppose you heard that, did you." Widdershins whispered in the Cheriel's ear.

Blake blinked and turned slightly towards Wid, giving her a 'what-the-hell-are-you-talking-about' look.

"I think that girl, Rei, may have run into some of your creepy friends." Widdershins infromed her, glancing off the way Rei had gone.

Blake nodded slightly and turned back to the others.

"Oi, I think we should go and check on Rei, she's been gone a while." Blake said and turned and trotted off down the way Rei had gone. Suddenly she stopped as she took in the sight before her.

"Woah! Oi! You! Ugly buggers! Rack off." Blake called, catching sight of all the Creepers surrounding the fallen shape of Rei. The ugly things turned and glared at her.

"Van, think we can take this lot on? If possible go for the heads- thats their weakest spot." (ooc: I'm assuming that youand Cassian followed me.) Blake gripped her scythe and smiled slightly, the curvy weapon having gotten quite a workout that night.

(*lol* Pheonix it's okay since it fits very well with what I've allready come up with. Most of Cassian's town was killed by harpies but most of the race was caused by vampires (sweet blood

) and a few other things.. <.< >.>)

Cassian blinked as Rai left. "Im.. fine..." He said softly. Really the only thing wrong with him was the scratch marks on his arm... He then turned to look at Blake as she spoke. "We do." He replyed smiling a bit the smile growing wider as she showed her own wings. "I've lived most my life among human so I hide them. I'd show you but..." He whent quiet getting the feeling she wasent really listening anyway.
As she mentioned Rei he just noddet. Truth was he was kind of worried. So as Blake left he followed only to gasp at the sight that met them. "What are thoes things!?" He seemed to quickly get over the surprise though. He took a few steps back and stood strait eyes closed for a moment as he placed his hands togetter infront of him. He then reopened his eyes his misty purple eyes well awhere of everything that happent. There was no way he was going to fight if he could avoid it. But he was going to shield them if needet be.

(To thoes that have seen Yami no Matsuei yeah the hand motion is something like that ^.^
Okay what he's going to do here is if they're in trouble he'll use his powers to manipulate thier Aura's in to a shield and keep them unharmed. You can use this while Rping the fight if you want ^.^)

Silently Van dashed in the direction Rei set out in. The sight was 15 shadow creepers.
"Where the hell did these guys come from, and don't say the shadows,"
("Van, think we can take this lot on? If possible go for the heads- thats their weakest spot.")
But before she finished Van lept at the nearest shadow creeper and cut it through the middle.
"You coming Blake," He said rarther confidently.
Another slashed at him and he jumped taking his knives down its back, he looked over his shouder and saw Rei. He jumped to the wall on his right and jumped off the wall in a spinning motion lopping the head off one. He landed near Rei and grabbed her, put her over his shoulder and charged back to blake swinging her scythe in an elegant motion. Layed Rei down next to Cassian
"Don't let them near her," And then returned to join the cheriel .....[/i]

Cassian only noddet in reply to Van. He kept his 'job' of protecting her very simple and just used his powers. A shimmer suroundet her for a moment than nothing could be seen. Cassian as simply created a shield around her using her own Aura. It couldent be seen now. Only if someone hit against it. The others he could only give temporal shields but he hoped it was enough to keep them from getting hurt.

The Cheriel spun, ducked, swerved, kicked, hit, slashed and inflicted damage on the Shadow Creepers in any way possible. Widdershins also tried to help to the best of her ability by walking straight through the Creepers, causing the monsters to halt in suprise for a few seconds. Unlike most creatures, Shadow-Creepers could actually feel as Widder passed through them. It threw them off sometimes which helped Blake immensly.

"You will never listen to Euan, will you?" She heard a voice call and turned to see the blonde Cheriel, Rhyl. He grinned, a scythe similar to Blake's over one shoulder, and saluted Blake.

"Need some help there Ze" (ooc: thats Rhyl's little nickname for Blakeaneze) Rhyl asked Blake.

"Well, if your here, you might as well." Blake snapped slightly, slashing the head off yet another Shadow Creeper. Between her and Van, there were now only about 7 Creepers left.

Rhyl grinned happily and shot into the battle slashing at the monsters. There was a lot of reason for Rhyl to want to kill Creeps, seeing they had toutured and murdered his family and then him soon after.

There was only about 7 left now and blake seemed to suprise the creepers long enough to make worm food of them then from the mist emerged a voice and another cheriel figure. He spoke to Blake and continued Van was too busy to pay that much attention if he was on thier side he didn't mind...

Rei struggled through the misty remnants of her brain. Her head was pounding beyond belief. I want to sleep, she thought sighing. Sleep is good, she put her head back on the ground. Wait, dont sleep, stay awake, another voice sounded, you'll die and then what will that prove to your father?? Stay awake!

Struggling Rei tried to sit up but winced and clutched a hand to her side. "Sh* t, " she whispered as she pulled her hand back. There was a large gash horizontally across her side and blood was seeping through her clothing.

Trying to use her healing abilities, Rei struggled to sit up before she would pass out again. (Damn that creeper had hit her on the head hard)She couldnt heal the wound fully she realised- not in this state. But she managed to stop the bleeding. At least she wasnt loosing anymore blood- at least she didnt think she would die now.

"Damn, I need a drink," she whispered to herself desperately. She turned and saw Cassian the Icaros holding up a shield thingy from the creepers and growled. Stupid things she couldnt believe how stupid she'd been. These people probably thought she was some weakling who couldnt kill a few shadow demons. How sad.

"Don't move..." Cassian warned softly as he frowned trying to keep the creepers away from both himself and Rei. "You'r hurt..." Ofcause she knew that. He just wanted her to know he wasnet trying to comand her to do anything.
He then winched as his concentration was suddently broken. He turned sharply to glance around the place. Something else was there. Not like the others. Something... big and... Dark... It had an aura about it that scared him.
Losing his concentration on what was happening was not a good thing how ever. He cried out as he felt something slice his back leaving a deep bleeding gash. With out even thinking he turned and with one smooth hand movement trew a blade of his own Aura against the creature neatly cutting it in half. As he realiced what he'd just done he blinked surprised at himself. Then he remembered Rei and turned back to make sure she was unharmed reganing his previus concentration.

(Yeah just wanted to show he can fight he just don't like doing so :p)

OOC: *Mavv makes his first post in this thread and its not for RPing* >.> Hehe. ^.^;; Sorry. But Cat hasn't posted since the 18th of August...and I dun wanna see this thing pause out...so we're gonna need to do something about that until we can get another message from her...
I can only think of three options open to us at this time...
1. We get a temporary replacement to play her characters.
2. We kill off Cat.
3. We make Cat disappear.
I think combining options 2 and 3 would be best...since it'd be hard playing her characters and we wouldn't want to screw up anything and make her sad. Now we could make it look like Cat was killed (so people wouldn't bother looking for him) if we place a pool of his blood or something like that by Eliza's body and making it look like he had died (or at least that's what people would surmise), but in actuality Cat had fled or was taken away by the attacker. Thus allowing Cat to mysteriously come back at any time, if she wanted to, and continue on adventuring with the group (after a momentary pause for her to explain what happened, of course).
It's only a suggestion though...and I only make it because I dunno what to do...but if you guys have information about Cat's where-abouts or have a better idea of what to do I'm open to it. Sorry again for this too.

Anyways...
Weeeee~! This is gettin' good! ^^ I really like the story so far. *gives thumbs up* Keep up the good work!
