comic question

Post by Jusein »

i love the work... are you ever thinking about putting it into comic book form? that would be truly delicious... for profit or not i would be willing to fork over cash for that.

We pretty much determined it wouldn't work. XD; I dunno, some crazy miracle might happen someday, but I'm thinking negatively on this one right now. n.n

It would be so awesome if it was a full-colour comic book.... you could redo all the early pages and colour them...

Downside is she wouldn't be able to update the comic as much because of all the stuff she'd have to do for getting the book ready for the printers. Look at MegaTokyo.

Yes you could! Piro did it, and he's quite possibly the most negative webcomic-writer-thingy I've seen. I know I'd buy one. o_O; You could always wait 'til later to do it.

Submit samples to Iron Cat, I do believe that's the publisher for Mega Tokyo. Plus, they have a new periodical manga/mag that is called AmeriManga which features continuing manga stories by American creaters. I have two friends that are published in it (Beth Westmoreland and Chris Seaton). If you'd like, I can get a hold of one of them (most likely Beth) and see about what you would have to do in terms of submitting your work to be published.

Actually, if Kelly could get a loan (empty out your wallets!! XD), the resources to publish Arcana are out there. ^_^ It would just be a matter of cleaning everything up, making sure you have the time to work on it religiously, and redoing the images at a certain dpi, size, and resolution, depending on which printing company you do business with. I'm finding out how easy it for artists to take control of selling and publishing their own work literally from their garage in my Business Graphics courses. ^^ The only real problem would be advertising and distributing it, but I'm sure your fans would have no problem telling others about the series. :P

(Sorry to ramble, but it's possible! ^.^)

the internet is a beautiful thing... i think the advertising would pretty well be taken care of by everyone here as well as the page itself. and the loan could be prepayment... i duno ^_~ i think it's a cool idea
