I wrote this thing in Jojo's Comic, since at the time, this topic was sliding down the list. I'm just putting it here for prosperity's sake, and for the fact that I was hoping Kelly would read it.
Looking back on past postage and stuff, I found one in particular that I wanted to comment on, but it struck me as slightly silly to do so.
The one where Kelly was talking about Arcana and how it was going and getting feedback.
I enjoy reading Arcana as much as the next person (except for the BIG fans) and more times than not, I look at the stuff Kelly draws and I think to myself, "Why can't I draw that well?" "What is it that Kelly does in her drawings that I cannot?"
First thing I'd say is that she's more exprienced, and has been drawing her characters using a median that I've never even heard of before.
Second, I'd say that our styles were different, that we saw worlds and views and such in ways that neither could fathom.
And third, I understand that basically writers are all alike (in ways) that we all desire feedback, and we all strive to do our best and do our all to show the world what our characters mean to us. Maybe others will disagree with me on that, and that's okay, but to be perfectly honest, Arcana is an excellent webcomic, Kelly, and all are rooting for you, no matter how much you can point out is wrong with it.
(I also know for a fact that I had no need to say any of this, I'm just an expressive person..... Sorry to all who knew all this and didn't want nor need for me to say it)
