did anyone else buy the Yami no Matsuei/Descendants of Darkness DVD? my main question that i want to know is if any one else screamed bloody murder when they heard the dubbing?

just curious...

Yeah people are responding to my friends test! I'm surprised that Jojo got a better score than Meghan but then again Jojo was here when I made the quiz, and Meghan probably just didn't know one of the questions ( I hope this doesn't offend you Meghan.) Yeah, I've heard that the dubbing is ...less than stellar. And from someone who hasn't seen the Japanese version too. ... I still want it though. n_n Just because.

yami no matsuei is the greatest thing!
if any of you have never seen it, you should go and buy it. i've seen the whole series in avi format (thanks to my buddies joe and kathy), but after seeing it on the computer, i REALLY wanted the DVD. it is soooo worth buying!!! ...even if the english dub is horrible....and the cover layout looks as though it was done by a 10 year old....just watch it with subtitles and you'll die happy

i just realized that you're quoting tatu... that song is original done by the smiths. i haven't heard tatu's cover of it.

Actually Jessi we went to go see A Guy Thing, (it wasn't very good). You didn't really miss out on anything. But I still wish that you could have come. If we can't get together this weekend then I'll see you on Tuesday!

I agree. Ice Age is a good movie. However most movies that are in the theater stink. (for example Two Week's Notice, Emperor's Club, and A Guy Thing.) Everyone says that Emperor's Club is similar to Dead Poet's Society with Robin Williams. I'm not sure if that's true having never seen. D.P.S but it sounds better than Emperor's Club. Has any one ever seen it? (DPS)

*laughs* That's exactly what I thought from the commercials. ^_^ The Emperor's Club looks like Dead Poet's Society to me. I watched it for a pop culture class in HS, and really liked it. I'm too poor for the theatres now (darn you college bookstore, 400 for all my books is not cool!), but I'm planning on checking out EC soon.

And I double lovemyshinji.

Yami no Matsuei is one of my favorite manga/anime series. The anime is good, but the manga has plenty more fanservice, if you don't mind the occasional filler chapters. ^_~
