Okay, the good news: I talked to Andy, and since he quit his craptacular job at Hollywood Video in favor of something else less degrading he will have more time to draw comics, which means the launch date will come much sooner than I previously estimated.
The bad news: to celebrate this freedom from the bondage of employment (<i>mmmmm, bondage</i>) Andy will be taking a 1-month vacation to Washington state, starting sometime next week.
However, more good news: Andy plans to do a good deal of drawing while he is on vacation, so I should be able to get my 1-month worth of strips shortly after his return.
I'm not sure how often I'm going to update the comic exactly, but it all depends on how fast Andy's willing to draw the strips. I'd like to do 3 times a week, (<i>Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday to offset the normal Monday - Wednesday - Friday bunch</i>) but these strips aren't casually drawn. Andy puts a lot of work into each strip, so it may turn out to be twice weekly. Once weekly is unrealistic, since the progression of the plot would be far too slow to catch anybody's interest.
Oh, I'm going to try to scan in the prologue this Saturday, hopefully have it up Sunday. It isn't much really, but it'll give you an idea of how Andy draws. Sort of. It's really weird.
Peace out,
