If you have one and don't have GTA3, you don't know what you are missing. GTA3 is the game to measure all other games against. It is hours upon hours of fun. It has a great, long, story line. It allows for tons of improvisation, and round about methods to complete most of the missions. The graphics are good, the gameplay is great, the fun immeasurable.

Warning : It has a Mature (M) rating for a reason. Not for kids.

Solid game system, very open-ended, great visual and audio effects, and I will never touch it because I consider the subject matter reprehensible. It's an odd sort of conservativism, mind you... I had sex to get my life-energy back in Golgo 13, I've stolen money from people in numerous Ultimas, and I've bludgeoned people to death in far too many games to be listed.

But bludgeoning a woman to death after having life-replenishing sex with her to get my money back seems to be three questionable tastes that taste like shit together.

I've got no issues with people who do want to play the game, mind you. I just personally lack the stomach for it.

I have a hard time measuring all games against this one. Sure it has great graphics, good controls... yadda yadda yadda.

Guess I have been playing the wrong games to have ever expirenced anything nearly as disturbing as GTA3, thought the character saying "Shit" in a game was HARDCORE DEVILRY!! Guess I have been out of the market too long.. True EverQuest Addict here! Last four games I bought were EverQuest, EverQuest: Ruins of Kunark, EverQuest: Scars of Velious, and recently EverQuest: Shadows of Luclin.. Any buzz about Neverwinter Nights? Mabye I break my streak..

You don't HAVE to beat up the prostitute to get your money back, but as with all GOOD games, the OPTION is there. You can beat her up, you can avoid hiring her all together if that offends you too (Just remember where all the heart icons are

The open ended-ness, the options, that's what I like most about this game. That and driving around like a maniac
