A week ago in my history class, we learned that the mayans were really awesome astronomers. They predicted that the exact date of the end of the world would be Sunday December 23, 2010. Did you also know that none of their predictions have been incorrect thus far? Just thought you'd like to know. ::builds bunkner::

Yea, of all the thousand of end-times date that have been made so far, none were right, but somehow the Mayans got the right date. Gee, where have I heard that before ?

It must have been for that last failed date of Nostradamus...

First of all, Nostradamus had very broad general predictions. Some of his have been wrong. The mayans? All of theirs have been right. Astronomically and Mathmatically.

I don't mean to be the "anal" one here but religiously speaking.. and I'm not sure if anyone else here is christian but I know that in the bible in the last chapter of Revelations and it says that it is a sin to predict the end of the world and change the date according to God's plan..

Just something to think about..

Besides we'll probably all kill ourselves off before 2010 anyways..

Dan makes a good point, we probably will blow ourselves up with nuclear war or something before 2010. Franc, no wonder nobody likes you, you're a jerk. I was just adding an interesting tidbit of information. There aren't little Mayans in my head thank-you-very-much. Instead of making fun of people and being completly egocentric, why not add something to the conversation rather than completly putting someone down because their opinion contradicts yours?
