So how have movies affected you in life? For me, 2001: A Space Odyssey totaly changed my perspective on life. Along with Pink Floyd The Wall, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Fear an Loathing in Las Vegas, and Dawn of the Dead. So how about you?

Actually, sad to say, no.

However, my perspective on life was changed while rounding decimals in math class.

Don't ask.

I have seen it...and it didn't change my life, or my perspective on it....
Good movie tho.

I LOVE Fear and Loathing...my friend borrowed it tho and I haven't gotten it back yet...gotta beat her up and take it back before I move...

Holy Grail r0xx0rs and well, The Wall wasnt as fantabulous as others TOLD me it was....perhaps I just heard too much Hype for it so it didn't live up...who knows

Saw a great movie Wednesday night tho, Demons (as well as Demons II)...great Italian Zombie movie...Bava (the director) is quite the king of GORE! Wheee!

Nope. No movies have really affected my view on anything, least of all life...

No, I take that back. Movies have affected my views on something. If it weren't for the movie Hackers, I may not have seen movie producers as the blithering idiots I know them to be now.

Movies will change my life when my plan of implanting every single mind on Earth with subliminal messages in a popular movie will come into action. Until then, no dice, except it's only another domain which clearly demonstrates that people are stupid.

Wow. I'm impressed. Not only was that post somewhat related to the topic, but it almost made a relevant point.

Probably Mulan, and Daria: Is It Fall Yet?

Hee. Daria is my rolemodel.

Blues Brothers as well. I recently rented it, and my mom said I watched it all the time when I was little.

I think that's where my obsession with flamethrowers began. Yea, that was probably the movie that made the biggest impact on my life.

Oh! And Star Wars. If it wasn't for Star Wars, I would have been just plain old boring.

Star Wars Episode One changed my life.

Because the day I saw it, a little bit of my soul died.

Yeah, I know. Tragic, isn't it?

Disclaimer: PM's last post is not, in fact, true. However, he wanted to write something, and that's what came out. Ep 1 was just a movie; nothing special about it one way or the other. Please, George Lucas, don't send your rabid fanboys to kill me.

In case you're wondering, I am one of those "rabid fanboys", but I just think Ep1 is misunderstood. Sure, it had some bad acting, but what Star Wars didn't? Are midichlorians dumb? Yes, but they didn't ruin the movie. And you know, if you watch it enough, you start to laugh at Jar-Jar. But I also hope he dies. I had real trouble getting past that swamp level in the Episode one game because I kept intentionally killing Jar-Jar.

Honestly, all this Star Wars hoopla is childhood fancy. I saw Star Wars 4 recently and I realized it sucks. Real hard.

There is a memetic lesson in there but I can't find it yet. Maybe it's "get 'em young and they'll be yours for life". Or maybe it's just that you suck.

The Pi transcends good and evil. The Pi is the alpha and the omega. The Pi is love and hate. When you gaze at the abyss, the Pi gazes back at you. Worship the Pi.
