Dark Prophet has asked me why we don't have a mIRC channel.. I said we didn't have enough interest outside of Coffee Group... But I'd probably consider it if there was enough interest...

So what do you think?

I like MIRC cos I can traumatise more people more quickly

That being said I inevitably have to stay up until like 4:00am to actually speak to anyone, ah time zones are the bane of my life.

Yeah... I hadn't thought about that...

Oh, Prophet.. The other reason we don't have one is that neither Dani nor I have mIRC stuffness on our computers.

ah that would explain it then. It is a bad bad thing. The killer of sleep. The bane of the morning lecture. The harbinger of the eternal caffeine addiction! Weep for me for I am already lost within its claws!

*drinks coffee and becomes less melodramatic*

's cool.

*and less eloquent*

There, there. I went through my chatroom phase when I was younger. I was fifteen and being wooed by a 27 year old who thought I was too young when I lied and said I was seventeen. I mean for Chrissakes, I was just some pixels, wasn't I? What did it matter what age I was?

But we're over that...

I remember when Geocities chat used to be good.

Hee. I had mIRC for about a week. Then I got rid of it because I couldn't be bothered to communicate with a bunch of people who couldn't spell properly or use English...

That;s why most of the mIRC channels I go on (well mainly I lurk in 1-2) are part of... hmmm... I don;t know hwo you;d sum it up, we have an e-group, we exchange e-mail constantly, occasionaly snail mail and prezzies (heh, one of them sent me a little vampire christmas ornament) there's like 30 of us scattered across the globe so I can guarentee usually one person on-line, and we know each other well enough to be insulting

mIRC and chat channels are fine so long as you have a rough idea of whose on the other line.

Hmm...
Still sounds a bit too much like effort to me.
