I would like to categorically apologise to all violin cases who were offended by the last comic.

Um. I think it should've been a 'cello case. In keeping with "The Living Daylights". Something like that.

Uusally violin cases, but sometimes you need soemthing... well double basses are useful...

but I never got anyone to believe I needed a grand piano case, shame really...

*frown* How can you not have seen the Living Daylights? ARRGH! Well, or read it? James Bond...I have a flute case. It actually looks more deadly.

Yeah, because you know that the Musician's guild is just dying to get their hands on you for not paying those Guild fees...

For those of you who don't understand, it's a Terry Pratchett referance.
But a Violin case is very useful. Trust me on that. I've lived for 14 years with a violin case underneath my bed. You'd be surprised how much mold you can fit in a Violin case.

The reason people haven't seen The Living Daylights, is because it stars Timothy Dalton, Easily the worst Bond ever to show his bow-tied face. Roger Moore had style, Sean Connory had wit, charm and (supposedly) good looks. Pierce Brosnan is suave and has good writers. Even George Lazenby could chain-smoke cigars.

But Dalton (the American Bond) has absolutely nothing (zip, zilch, zero, ziggurat) going for him.

Ummmm... There is something though. I mean, he did make TWO Bond movies. While Lazenby only made one. And a very very very bad one at that * shudder, twitch * Anyway, I still reckon that Brosnan is the best one to gloomph.

*thinks* Sean Connery was good when he was young. Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby are easily the equal worst James Bonds. Very hard, well, not very easy on the eyes, a bit...poncy. Pierce Brosnan is more than droolworthy. *grins* In any case, it's the cello case ride in The Living Daylights that sticks in yer mind. And it was also a damn short story, as well as Octopussy, originally. I read them.

Don't know if I've read Living Daylights. Did read a fair bit of Bond when I was in year 7-8...so about six or seven years ago. I know I read Moonraker, and that wasn't written by Fleming.

I must say that while I think Roger Moore is not right for the part of Bond, I enjoyed his performances immensely.

But then that's just me.
